Paper and pulp manufacturing is one of the most "wet" industries. For instance, to produce one ton of paper 100-150 t of water is required.
Water used in paper manufacturing shall be specifically treated. Filtration processes are used practically in all stages of the process flow chart in pulp and paper manufacturing enterprises. Another pivotal issue in terms of company’s normal operation is proper waste water treatment. Diversity of industrial wastes results in development of new complex, multi-level systems of water treatment.
The water-treatment systems using traps, filters and other equipment allow cleaning the waste water mainly from suspended solids. The rest part of waste water goes to the off-site sewage treatment facilities fitted with all necessary equipment for mechanical, biological and chemical treatment.
Mechanical treatment includes waste water precipitation, filtration and flotation processes. These methods mainly provide for removal of suspended solids.
Water colour is reduced upon introduction of chemicals after biological treatment.
In paper and pulp enterprises waste water is treated in several stages.
Conventional filtration methods are sometimes more efficient when combined with membrane filters.
Thus, below we highlight some water-treatment and filtration processes, where highly efficient "TEKO-FILTER" filtering equipment may be applied::
Since 1994 we have made over 40 supplies of our equipment to the pulp and paper enterprises.
We'll appreciate the possibility to develop and manufacture the systems for water treatment, filtration of other liquids and final waste water treatment at your request.
