At the beginning of 2022 Production Enterprise TEKO-FILTER delivered a batch of filters made of composite material. Two filters FOV-1,6-0,6, complete with filtering load (sand) were shipped. The equipment is intended for completing the treatment facilities in Kirov.

• The choice of filters made of composite materials was due to their unique characteristics and positive features:
• High corrosion resistance to aggressive media (in this case, the solution contained salt);
• Long service life;
• High mechanical strength;
• Lower mass of the apparatus in comparison with a metal one;
• No operating costs for repair and maintenance.

At the same time, all the main performance characteristics of the filter equipment correspond to those of standard filters made of carbon steel.
Recently, plastic filters have been increasingly used for water treatment and purification in chemical, food and other industries.
