As part of the "Ticket to the Future" project, in collaboration with the Tolyatti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, students from School No. 80 visited the TEKO-FILTER Manufacturing Enterprise. This early career guidance project for schoolchildren in grades 6–11 is being implemented at the request of the President of the Russian Federation.
This is not the first time such tours have been held at our plant. As an active member of the Tolyatti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the company has been proudly participating in the "Ticket to the Future" project since 2021. We believe that to engage schoolchildren in manufacturing professions, it's not enough to simply talk about them—it's important to show them the actual production process and the work of specialists "live," so they can see everything with their own eyes.
Our guests were able to see industrial filters of incredible dimensions, learn where they are used, how they are manufactured, how filter production begins, and what processes are involved. What methods and technologies are used to purify water?
Before the tour, TEKO-FILTER employees told the children about the company's history and organized two master classes for them.
During the tour, TEKO-FILTER employees took the children on a tour of the production facilities, where people of various professions work: turners, mechanics, welders, engineers, technologists, and others. The students learned something new about each profession and saw people of these professions in action.
Feedback from teacher Svetlana Valentinovna Khovyatskaya, responsible for career guidance at School No. 80:
"The students were eagerly awaiting the tour of the TEKO-FILTER plant. Seeing real production, work processes, and equipment firsthand was truly captivating. A huge thank you to the plant's staff for the tour. Their love for their work and professionalism were evident in every word. The students saw how turners, mechanics, painters, phrase writers, design engineers, and more worked.
Thank you to TEKO-FILTER for the opportunity to learn about the plant's operations."
Choosing a career is an important and responsible decision, one that largely determines each person's future. We strived to show the students the full range of mechanical engineering specialties to help them make an informed choice in the near future and realize their strengths in the profession.
We are confident that among these students, many future masters of their craft—skilled workers, talented engineers, and true professionals. And perhaps some of them will soon join our friendly team!
