In January 2026, TEKO-FILTER LLC delivered four FMO-600-1.12 self-cleaning mechanical filters, completely replacing imported Spanish filters (made by STF) with a domestically developed product. The equipment was shipped to ZapSibNeftekhim LLC, a major petrochemical complex.

This new development was a response to the needs of industrial enterprises seeking technological independence while maintaining high performance. The Russian filters fully match the dimensional, connection, and hydrodynamic parameters of their foreign counterparts, allowing them to be replaced without upgrading existing filtration systems.

A key stage of the project was the creation of a filter element with a multilayer mesh structure. The technical department of TEKO-FILTER has developed a unique technology for spot welding mesh layers, mimicking the sintered structure of original filters.

This solution ensures:

  • Maintaining the cross-sectional area at the level of imported models;
  • Increased mechanical strength compared to adhesive joints;
  • Resistance to vibration and thermal loads under industrial conditions.

The implemented design solution confirms TEKO-FILTER Manufacturing Company's readiness to provide import substitution in the high-tech filtration equipment segment. We didn't simply replicate a foreign equivalent; we adapted the design to suit domestic production capabilities and the requirements of Russian industry.

The project was completed in record time thanks to the coordinated work of the company's design, technology, and production departments. All stages, from design and prototype manufacturing to serial production, were completed using our own production facilities. The launch of FMO self-cleaning filter production expands the range of domestically produced equipment for the oil and gas, chemical, and energy industries, reducing companies' dependence on imported filtration supplies and strengthening the technological sovereignty of Russian industry.

ZapSibNeftekhim LLC is Russia's largest petrochemical complex, with a total capacity of 2.5 million tons of basic polymers per year (1.5 million tons of polyethylene and 1 million tons of polypropylene). The plant is located 10 km east of Tobolsk in the Tyumen Region.
